Isherwood's Neighbourhood Walking Tour Berlin

This tour explores the life and times of novelist Christopher Isherwood in Berlin during the 1920s/30s. His writings formed the basis of the Oscar-winning film and musical "Cabaret".

The Cabaret Tour

This walking tour, also known as The Cabaret Tour, is a circular walk through the Schöneberg district of the late 1920s and early 1930s, as it would have been seen by Christopher Isherwood. It visits the places where he lived, wrote and socialised as documented in his diaries of the time.

The tour includes short readings from his literary works during the Weimar Republic Era and stories about the bygone stars of the stage he would have associated with.

This tour will add a whole new layer to your visit to Berlin.
